About The Event
SATURDAY June 15th 2019 AD
Direct from the USA....
EUGENE CHADBOURNE (mit special guest Andrew Cheetham) will be performing at Arco Barco.
HEAR HEAR: For the uninitiated: Chadbourne has remained one of the international pioneers of the avant-garde since the late 1970's blazing a quagmire through bluegrass, prepared guitar, anarchic C&W, free jazz, psychobilly & dazzling clatter. He has collaborated with an array of artists including John Zorn, Camper Van Beethoven, Fred Frith (of Henry Cow) and Jimmy Carl Black (from The Mothers of Invention). It's Eugene's only show in Kent and will be a breath-taking experience beyond a doubt.
Stand by for action!!
Some tickets will be available on the door but spaces are limited so it's definitely worth purchasing before hand.
There will be a bar on the night selling alcoholic, soft and hot drinks.
Arco Barco is located within a second floor maritime arch and the only access is via a steep external staircase. We’ve extensively looked into options to amend this staircase but unfortunately, given the historical nature of the building, we've been unable to come to a solution. We'd like to take this opportunity to offer our sincerest apologies to anyone who might be restricted by this.
By purchasing a ticket(s) you accept that the premises has restricted entry which, is limited to a steep and high external staircase. You agree that you and your guests able to access the building safely and responsibly. When leaving the premises, you agree to descend the staircase backwards with both hands on the hand rails and that only one person must be on the staircase at any time.
